CHR® K100 is manufactured from polyimide film with high-temperature silicone adhesive on both sides. CHR® K100 has excellent mechanical and electrical properties, plus excellent dielectric strength. CHR® K100 offers high temperature resistance and low moisture absorption. CHR® K100 is used in high voltage insulation. The Thermoset cycle is 1-4 hours at 204 °C. The polyimide backing meets MIL-P-46112B.
Applications: CHR® K100 is constructed to fill the requirements of high performance thermo-plastic polyimide backing materials along with the high temperature resistance of the silicone adhesive for a broad range of electronic assembly and electrical insulation applications.
