A662 is manufactured from various thicknesses of aluminum foil coated with high-temperature pressue-sensitive adhesive. It offers easy handling and is solvent resistant. A662 tapes are provided with a release liner.
Applications: A662 tapes were developed as a high performance masking tape that provides area for aircraft windows during chemical stripping of old paint and for the cleaning of aircraft prior to repainting. They offer excellent protection so as to eliminate the danger of etching and clouding windows.
