Nashua 558CA Premium Duct Tape
Nashua 558CA is a butyl adhesive tape for use on flexible HVAC ducts in both residential and commercial settings. Approved by the California Energy Commission. Meets flexible duct sealant requirements for CA ruling AB 970. UL 181B-FX Listed (for use with flexible air ducts and closure systems). It has excellent adhesion and shear holding power performance. It has a unique adhesive formulation of calendered and butyl rubber ensures extraordinary longevity of the tape's functionality performance. Excellent resistance to mold growth, humidity, flame spread, smoke generation and effects of high temperature.
Colors: metallic, black, and silver.
Applications: Acts as a superior closure system for use with flexible air duct and air connectors. Recommended for use on UL Listed flexible air ducts in accordance with manufacturer's installation instructions. Ideal for heating, air conditioning, ventilating and refrigeration applications.
