Saint-Gobain RU Rulon PTFE Film Tape
CHR RU is manufactured from skived, patented, filled PTFE film coated one side with high-temperature pressure-sensitive adhesive. Rulon backing is chemically inert and offers excellent high temperature resistance. It’s tape construction is stable, non-toxic and weather resistant. The film surface is self-lubricationg and the backing is confromable. Both tapes are supplied with a peel off release liner.
Applications: It combines a low coefficient of friction with the high temperature stability. It also offers outstanding abrasion resistance, which equates to a 500-fold increase in wear resistance over PTFE in rotating bearing tests.
