Saint-Gobain CHR G-476R High Temperature Fiberglass Mat Splicing Tape
Saint-Gobain CHR G-476 is manufactured from high strength, woven fiberglass cloth, coated one side with a high performance, thermosetting rubber pressure-sensitive adhesive system for use in the most demanding high speed, high temperature extreme environment splicing. G476 has a high strength woven fiberglass cloth backing to withstand production line tensile forces exerted on permanent splices. The combination of rubber base and thermosetting technology affords exceptional adhesive properties, such as high temperature resistance, chemical resistance, tenacious adhesion, quick grad and variety. Applications: G476 is frequently used as a high temperature fabric splicing tape. Specifically designed to splice non-woven glass mat master rolls consumed on asphalt shingle production lines, it’s quick stick and quick cycle adhesive thermoset affords durability and reliabiltiy in extreme high temperature and high volume environments.
