Saint-Gobain 06005 Glass-Foil Tape
06005 is manufactured from a laminate of aluminium foil and silicone adhesive impregnated fibreglass cloth. 06005 offers excellent abrasion resistance and is very conformable. The specially formulated silicone adhesive system provides an excellent bond to the part being masked and holds the tape firmly in place throughout the entire spraying process. It also removes cleanly reducing cleaning of the part.
Applications: It is used in applications where high temperatures and/or abrasion are issues.
