Polyken 297 Flame Retardant Fiberglass Cloth Tape
Polyken 297 is a unprinted flame retardant, linered, fiberglass tape for aircraft cargo compartment seam sealing. Fiberglass cloth backing resists flame penetration for safety. High conformability – accommodates angles and turns. F.A.R. 25.853 (a) and F.A.R. 25.855 (d) compliant. High adhesion properties eliminates lifting/curling. High tensile strength. Creep resistance maintains seal under load.
Applications: Cargo pit applications, seam sealing (taping), and repair of cargo compartment liners for use on covering pins/rivets where high adhesion and flame resistance is critical. Aerospace industry
