Patco 565 Polyethylene Screenblock Tape is a low-density polyethylene film with acrylic adhesive designed to be used as a protective mask exhibiting excellent chemical, moisture, and abrasion resistance. Superior conformability. Stretches with screen during frame re-tensioning. Prevents leakage from inks & cleaners. 500% elongation capacity. Good tack and moderate adhesion. Provides clean removal from most surfaces. Easy to apply.
Applications: For use as a border and block-out tape for screenprinting applications. Border tape – It works by forming a well preventing ink from penetrating beyond the image area. Block-out tape – Can be adhered directly to the mesh allowing muli-colored printing and to cover pinholes.
