Electro Tape 850 Premium Grade Vinyl Electrical Tape
Electro Tape 850 has an enhanced strength 8.5 mil black electrical tape that is resistant to UV rays, acids, alkalis, abrasion, moisture, and corrosion. Use the 850 series in place of 3M Super 88. It’s the best electrical tape for extreme temperatures that range from -18°C to 105°C (0°F to 221°F) while maintaining peak stability and bonding. Wound on 1.5” ID core, our 850 series meets strict ASTM D-3005 and MIL-I-24391C specifications. Varying widths can be ordered in 20ft, 60ft, or 108 ft length rolls. Tape maintains elasticity, tensile strength, adhesion and integrity over broad temperature range – even in extreme cold weather. High stretch and rebound nature provides moisture-tight electrical and mechanical protection.
Applications: Harnessing wires and cables for added protection, moisture resistance, wire splicing, weatherproofing, partnering with rubber tape for added insulation and jacketing, and construction that includes electrical wiring.
