3M R9993 Repulpable Flying Splice System
3M™ Repulpable Flying Splice System R9993 is a repulpable double coated tape laminate with easy-release split liners. Optimal application temperature range is: 70° to 100°F (21° to 38°C). Water and alkali dispersability are excellent and eliminate danger of contaminating the paper mill broke with non-repulpable materials. For optimum results, firm even rub down pressure must be applied to the tape area to create the best possible adhesion between the tape and paper surface. Reduce likelihood of interruptions to subsequent processing operations. Engineered opening force for today’s high speed presses. Ideal for off-line splice preparations and subsequent roll storage.
Applications: Splittable flying splice tape for commercial printing operations; Ideal for high temperature printing where PSA tapes are desired over glue
