3M R7359 Repulpable Splittable Flying Splice Tape

3MTM tapes R5348, R7359 and 8387 are splittable flying splice tapes with easyrelease split liners. This family of splittable tapes sticks to a wide variety of substrates including polyethylene, BOPP, polyester, cast polypropylene, aluminum foil and paper. Aggressive adhesives provide high performance across a wide variety of substrates. Quick and easy application with no need for complex patterns or multiple tapes. Tape separates easily and smoothly without delaminating substrates. Ideal for off-line splice preparations and subsequent roll storage. High initial adhesion to newsprint, groundwood, paper, and other uncoated and coated sheets. 

Applications: Splittable flying splice tape is ideal for high speed newspaper and offset printing; Flying splice for cold paper stock 40°F (4°C), near freezing temperature; For optimum results, rub down tape with firm, even pressure to create the best possible adhesion between the tape and paper surface
