Saint-Gobain M835 PET with Silicone Adhesive Tape
CHR M-Series (5 Mil PET with Adhesive) are manufactured from polyester film with either rubber or silicone pressure sensitive adhesive. Polyester backings offer low cost effective holding for materials and resist damage from sharp edges. M835 offers superior bonding to a wide variety of treated papers, films and foils. Have a super quick-stick silicone adhesive system and the polyester backing silicone adhesive combination is highly conformable. Recommended for all splicing applications, including in oven splices where good wet out capabilities are critical. Polyester backing resists damage from sharp edges, and protects tool surfaces from abuse and adhesive flash in vacuum bag sealing. Also, polyester backings offer low cost, effective positioning tape for composite lay-ups prior to bag sealing. This tape will function at temperatures up to 130°C.
Applications: M835 is designed as a quick stick polyester splicing tape most often used in the graphic arts industry
