Saint-Gobain M887 Polyester Film with Silicone Adhesive Tape
CHR M-Series (2.0 Mil PET/Silicone Adhesive) is manufactured from polyester film with silicone pressure-sensitive adhesive. The 0.051 mm polyester backing offers high tensile strength, and the 0.038 mm cured silicone adhesive offers a high temperature adhesive system that does not transfer in application. Polyester tape is a cost-effective flash masking. Polyester backing resists damage and does not mar parts or tools. The backing and adhesive combination is highly conformable. It removes from substrates without adhesive transfer or residue and is resistant to corrosive chemicals and is tear and break resistant.
Applications: Proven to function in demanding powder-coating applications up to 425F where other protection tapes fail.
