Saint-Gobain M Series M57 2 mil Polyester Film with Rubber Adhesive Tape
M Series is manufactured from polyester film with rubber pressure-sensitive adhesive. Polyester backing resists damage from sharp edges, and protects tool surfaces from abuse and adhesive flash in vacuum bag sealing. Designed to be non-corrosive with excellent dielectric and insulation resistance properties. The thermosetting rubber resin adhesive sytem offers excellent quick stick properties and flag resistance, yet unwinds easily. Makes easy to apply electrical insulation. Polyester backings also offer low cost, effective holding for materials. The rubber adhesive is specially formulated to use as a flash mask protection tape in metal or composite bonding.
Applications: Polyester film offers an economical method to hold, insulate and/or protect materials. It is often used in critical capacitor and coil applications.
