3M 472 Vinyl Tape
3M™ Vinyl Tape 472 is comprised of a heavy duty black vinyl backing with a black pigmented rubber adhesive. The thick vinyl backing makes it ideal for applications requiring both abrasion resistance and the inherent conformability of vinyl. The rubber adhesive has good instant adhesion and sticks well to a variety of surfaces. Best results are attained when applied to clean, dry surface at temperatures between 60° to 80°F (16° to 27°C). Temperature resistance to 225°F (107°C). It can be used in outdoor applications with clean removal from many surfaces up to 6 months.
Applications: Heavy duty protection and abrasion resistance; splicing and patching; outdoor sealing, protecting, and marking; dissimilar metal separation; sealing barrier films and containers; sand blast and bead blast overspray protection
