CHR A2005 is fiberglass fabric impregnated with PTFE dispersion and coated with high-temperature, pressure-sensitive silicone adhesive.
Features/BenefitsCHR
A2005 is a very durable and versatile product. The combination of PTFE, fiberglass and a high temperature silicone adhesive allows A2005 to perform in continuous temperatures up to 260°C (500°F). A2005 is dimensionally stable and resistant to tears, punctures, abrasion and wear. It will not “cold flow” under heavy loads.
Availability
CHR A2005 is available in widths from 6.35 mm to 991 mm (0.25 in to 39 in) wide. Standard roll length is 16.5 m or 33 m (18 yd or 36 yd). CHR A2005 is available with or without a liner.
Applications
CHR A2005 is frequently used by the packaging industry as a release surface on heat sealers, blister formation and form-fill-seal equipment. The durability and anti-stick properties of CHR A2005 also make it an ideal material for the lining of guide rails, chutes and slides. The high temperature capabilities and non-stick properties of CHR A2005 allow it to perform as an excellent release surface in the composite aircraft industry
