3M 225 Silver Weather Resistant Masking Tape
3M™ Silver Weather-Resistant Masking Tape 225 is used for masking when outdoor weather resistance is needed for up to one month. Rubber adhesive provides instant adhesion that sticks easily to most surfaces. It resists lifting and curling due to the good holding power of the adhesive. The saturated crepe backing provides conformability for easy handling and application. It tears easily to reduce waste and provide ease of application and handling. The silver treatment provides UV resistance, which allows for outdoor use with clean removability.
Applications: Holding or protecting when outdoor weathering is encountered for a short period of time, marine paint masking applications where outdoor exposure is expected, protecting various items during painting and construction, holding temporary outdoor signs, and general outdoor use for periods not to exceed one month
