Description
CAT-strapping PET Strapping 3/8", 7/16", 1/2", 5/8", 3/4" Polyester strapping is the most rigid of all strapping materials. It elongates significantly less than polypropylene and retains tension over a longer period of time. It is easy to use and recycle. It is nick resistant and can be sealed with seals, heat, or fricition welds. Best used for heavy duty loads that need high intial tension and high retained tensions. Applications: empty cans and bottles, lumber, and heavy and rigid palletizing. Available in both machine and hand grade. Polyester Cord Strapping is also available.
strapping-polypro Polypropylene Strapping  1/4", 3/8", 1/2", 5/8", 3/4" Polypropylene strapping is the most commonly used and least expensive of all strapping materials. It's light and easy to use, and can be easily recycled. It has high elongation and recovery, but low retained tension. Available in both hand and machine gade. It can be sealed with buckles, seals, heat seals, or fricition welds. Best used for light duty palletizing, unitizing, carton closing and bundling.
straping-steel Steel Strapping 3/8", 1/2", 5/8", 3/4", 11/4" Regular duty and high tensile duty steel strapping is available. Both are manufactured from cold rolled steel. High tensile is heat treated to maximize break strength and deuctility. Regular duty can be used in manual and pneumatic tools, and as automatic steel strapping heads. High tensile provides additional break strength and shock resistance from even the toughest applications.
