Avery Dennison AFB 6102B is a ultra-thin black acrylic foam tape with double-coated multipurpose acrylic adhesive on both sides. It is used for bonding a wide range of high and medium surface energy substrates including metal and plastics. This product has excellent adhesion and shear strength, and also resists UV lights and elevated temperatures. It has a viscoelastic acrylic foam carrier, closed cell structure, improved productivity, improved aesthetics, and selected liner system. High adhesion combined with good shear and stress relaxation; absorbs shock and distributes stress evenly. Good resistance to moisture, UV, high temperatures. Eliminates drilling, grinding, refinishing, screwing, welding, and clean-up. Virtually invisible fastening helps keep surface smooth and clean. PE coated paper liner enables easy die-cut for a precise fit, seals against water, moisture, salt, and more.
