3M 471+ Vinyl Tape
3M™ Vinyl Tape 471+ is a conformable vinyl tape with a versatile rubber adhesive. The moderately translucent backing allows for accurate alignment in simple or complex patterns.
Applications: Use for paint masking where a clean, sharp paint line is needed and temperature
does not exceed 250°F (121°C); truck, bus, aerospace, and heavy equipment painting as well as automotive collision repair; Backing conformability, moderate translucence and good adhesion are useful where complex patterns are being outlined such as RV manufacture and custom motorcycle and automotive shops; protect adjacent surfaces in sanding operations; abrasion resistance, sealing, color coding, and general purpose applications.
