3M 213 High Temperature Masking Tape
Scotch® Tape 213 is a very high-temperature resistant tape for use in masking and holding applications where temperatures reach 350°F (177°C) up to 30 minutes. This tape is generally the most transfer-resistant adhesive of all the 3M paper tapes, as the firm adhesive does not anchor itself as softer adhesives often do. Highly cured rubber adhesive for excellent high-temperature holding and adhesive transfer resistance to keep edge lifting minimized to help reduce rework and labor. Specially treated crepe paper backing that is sliver resistant, conformable, easy tear, and solvent and moisture resistant to help reduce waste and labor. Designed for indoor use only as it should not be subjected to outdoor exposure or prolonged periods of sunlight as tape may become very difficult to remove.
Applications: anodized aluminum, automotive, electronics, furniture, general industrial, woodworking, transportation, holding, sealing, bundling, masking
